Abstract
Abstrak:
Indonesia merupaka negara berkembang yang memiliki penduduk yang cukup besar, serta selau beriringan dengan masalah ketenagakerjaan. Besarnya jumlah penduduk mengakibatkan jumlah angkatan kerja semakin menigkat, sehingga jumlah pencari kerja dan pengangguran akan semakin banyak, yang mengakibatkan pendapatan relative rendah dan kurangnya penyerapan tenaga kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh Pendidikan Rata Lama Sekolah, Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota (UMK) dan PDRB terhadap Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja di Provinsi Banten dengan rentan tahun penelitian 2012 – 2021. Data yag digunakan adalah data sekunder yang bersumber dari website Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Banten. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi data panel dengan Random Effect Model (REM) menjadi model terbaik yang terpilih. Hasil penelitian didapati Pendidikan Rata Lama Sekolah (RLS) dan Upah Minimum memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja, sedangkan PDRB memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja di Provinsi Banten tahun 2012-2021.
