Implementasi Rencana Induk Pengembangan Kawasan Pariwisata Linggai Kabupaten Agam

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan industri yang memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan masyarakat, terutama di daerah Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. Salah satu objek wisata yang menjadi fokus pengembangan adalah Linggai, yang telah mengalami peningkatan anggaran pembangunan dari tahun 2017 hingga 2021. Meskipun pemerintah daerah serius dalam mengembangkan Linggai, implementasi dari kebijakan pembangunan destinasi pariwisata ini belum sepenuhnya efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan faktor-faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi implementasi pembangunan destinasi pariwisata, khususnya objek wisata Linggai, di Kabupaten Agam dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data model Miles and Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan Rencana Induk Pengembangan Kawasan Pariwisata Linggai belum efektif karena beberapa faktor. Kemudian dalam penelitian ini juga terlihat bahwa objek wisata Linggai belum menyumbang lebih dari 10% dari total target kunjungan objek wisata Kabupaten Agam. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya promosi dan peningkatan kualitas layanan perlu ditingkatkan untuk menarik lebih banyak wisatawan berkunjung ke daerah tersebut. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Agam lebih fokus dalam mengatasi kendala aksesibilitas dan sarana prasarana di sekitar objek wisata Linggai. Selain itu, perlunya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan dan promosi pariwisata untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan. Sinergi antara pemerintah, swasta, dan masyarakat juga perlu ditingkatkan dalam memajukan pariwisata daerah ini.
