Abstract
Untuk mengurangi ketidakpuasan kerja karyawan tentu perusahaan harus meminimalisir faktor-faktor ketidakpuasan kerja tersebut. Perusahaan bisa menerapkan program work life balance, sebab dengan adanya keseimbangan antara kehidupan kerja dan kehidupan individu bisa memengaruhi tingkat employee engagement pada karyawan dalam pekerjaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kepuasan kerja pada perusahaan Optikal Putra Sawargi Mandiri dipengaruhi oleh adanya keseimbangan antara kehidupan kerja dan kehidupan individu sehingga timbulnya perilaku engagement yang menyebabkan terciptanya kepuasan kerja pada diri karyawan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket (kuesioner). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja di perusahaan Optikal Putra Sawargi Mandiri sejumlah 115. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 89 responden dengan teknik random sampling. Metode analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) melalui software Lisrel versi 8.80. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa employee engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, employee engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work-life balance, work-life balance berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, work life balance secara positif dan signifikan mampu berperan sebagai pemediasi antara hubungan variabel employee engagement dengan variabel kepuasan kerja pada perusahaan Optikal Putra Sawargi Mandiri di Majalengka.
