Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja sekretaris pada Bank Umum di Kota Banda Aceh. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 50 orang sektretaris yang diambil secara random sampling dari 11 bank umum di Kota Banda Aceh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan menggunakan peralatan statistik regresi linier sederhana. Penelitian menemukan bahwa kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja sekretaris. Semakin baik kecerdasan emosional seseorang sekreratis akan semakin baik pula kinerjanya
