Abstract
Gereja Santa Agnes Pomat merupakan sebuah bangunan lama yang dibangun oleh umat di lingkungan Pomat yang menurut pengamatan penulis, kondisinya sudah harus diperbaiki dan dikembangkan, karena tampilan estetika bangunannya yang kurang sesuai dengan lingkungan sekitarnya. Gedung gereja yang sudah ada kurang mampu memberikan kesan suasana gereja karena penataan ruang dalam yang belum terlalu diolah, hal ini terkadang membuat para umat malas untuk mengikuti misa dengan serius dikarenakan suasana gereja yang kurang mendukung jalannya perayaan ekaristi. Redesain ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan umat di Lingkungan Pomat, terutama pada interior gereja diantaranya mendesain dan menata ulang area Panti Imam. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif, metode ini bertujuan untuk mengangkat fakta, keadaan, dan fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi ketika penelitian berlangsung dan menyajikan apa adanya. Tujuan dalam perancangan adalah mendesain ulang interior gereja untuk menciptakan suasana hikmat sehingga memberikan kenyamanan beribadah bagi umat supaya lebih khusuk dan hikmad disaat peribadatan berlangsung dan bisa menjadi gereja yang nyaman untuk umat dan masyarakat umum yang berkunjung. Dari hasil analisis data menghasilkan standar perancangan yang akan digunakan dalam perencanaan untuk mengahasilkan bangunan gereja yang sesuai dan nyaman untuk digunakan dalam menjalankan upacara peribadatan.
