Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji lebih lanjut mengenai pengaruh beban kerja dan stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Kantor Kelurahan Cigugur Tengah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kualitatif Deskriptif untuk menggali secara mendalam mengenai informasi melalui tahapan wawancara informan yang mencakup dua karyawan Kantor Kelurahan Cigugur Tengah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dapat disimpulkan bahwa beban kerja dan stres kerja memiliki pengaruh yang kompleks terhadap kinerja karyawan. Beban kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja karyawan karena kekurangan karyawan menyebabkan beban kerja yang tinggi, sehingga karyawan merasa stres dan kesulitan menyelesaikan pekerjaan tepat waktu, sedangkan stres kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja hal ini disebabkan karena antar karyawan saling membantu dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan, sehingga terciptalah suasana kerja. yang positif dan saling mendukung. Selain beban kerja dan stres kerja, ada faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, seperti kekurangan staf dan beban kerja tambahan pada tenaga harian karyawan yang mengakibatkan kelelahan fisik dan mental.
