Optimasi Kinerja Internet Dengan Implementasi Metode Peer Connection Queue (PCQ) Untuk Manajemen Bandwidth di Yayasan Bina Darma

This research aims to improve the efficiency of internet network performance at Bina Darma Foundation, which is experiencing request time out constraints due to non-optimal bandwidth usage, because there is no proper bandwidth management mechanism. The focus of the research is the application of the Peer Connection Queue (PCQ) method for automatic bandwidth distribution to all clients, combined with Simple Queue to provide max-limit and limit_at on each interface. Network performance evaluation is carried out before and after the application of the method, by paying attention to QoS parameters (throughput, delay, jitter, packet loss) and download/upload speed. From both combinations of methods, the results of this study show the success of the method in significantly improving network quality. Although there were changes in the QoS parameter values on some interfaces due to bandwidth limitation, the network quality category did not change. In fact, there was an improvement from "Good" to "Excellent" category in some cases. Although there were variations in download and upload speeds due to bandwidth allocation, the overall network quality remained "Excellent" based on the QoS parameters.

This research investigates the role of ChatGPT in human-machine communication, focusing on interaction attributes and user perceptions. The study employs qualitative methods, including interviews with ChatGPT users, word cloud analysis using NVivo 12 Pro, and observation of interactions. Results highlight five frequently occurring codes: "chat," "person," "ChatGPT," "task," and "communication." These findings suggest that ChatGPT is perceived both as a communicative tool and a communicative subject, with AI literacy being crucial for its effective use. The research contributes significantly to understanding the development of technology and communication, showcasing ChatGPT's potential to transform human-machine interactions. It demonstrates how ChatGPT can improve efficiency, creativity, and our understanding of artificial intelligence. The study also explores the comparison between human-human and human-machine communication, emphasizing the unique role of ChatGPT in modern communication dynamics. This study aims to understand the use of TikTok social media as a medium for Ustadz Agam's preaching in enhancing Islamic values among millennial youth. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a content analysis approach. The research data is sourced from the TikTok account @hyung_Agam and relevant literature. The research data was analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that Ustadz Agam successfully utilizes TikTok as an effective preaching platform, especially for the millennial generation who are very familiar with information technology. By using casual and relatable language, as well as presenting practical and interactive content, Ustadz Agam is able to convey religious messages relevant to the daily lives of teenagers and young adults. His methods include inspirational stories, direct dialogue with followers, and the presentation of current topics, which not only attract attention but also influence the values and actions of his followers. Despite facing challenges in maintaining online consistency, Ustadz Agam's preaching on TikTok demonstrates that a modern approach integrating technology and emotional narratives can significantly enhance the understanding and acceptance of Islamic teachings among millennials

Komunikasi Nonverbal Guru dalam Berinteraksi dengan Siswa di Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri 1 Kota Binjai

This study aims to identify the forms of nonverbal communication used by teachers in interacting with students at Sekolah Dasar Luar Biasa Negeri 1 Kota Binjai, analyze the meaning and function of nonverbal communication, and describe students' responses to nonverbal communication used by teachers. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was done through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that teachers at Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri 1 Kota Binjai used several forms of nonverbal communication in interacting with students, including eye contact, body language, touch and facial expressions. The nonverbal communication has meaning and function, such as giving attention, motivation, and building closeness with students. Students respond positively to the nonverbal communication used by teachers, showing enthusiasm and engagement in learning.

The Microbiology and Genetics Laboratory at the Faculty of Biology and Agriculture, National University, has a Laboratory Assistant who is technically responsible for managing various aspects of the laboratory. Laboratory management includes the administration of borrowing space, tools, books, as well as setting up the laboratory as a place for research and practicums. Administrative processes that are still manual cause delays in borrowing space, tools and books in the laboratory. To overcome this problem, this research aims to build a management information system (SIMLAB) that can help make laboratory assistants' tasks easier. System validation is carried out using the black box method. Chatbot system testing involves sentence similarity tests and word similarity test results. The test results show that if the similarity of sentences or words is more than 70%, the chatbot can identify questions and provide answers based on the dataset. However, if it is less than 70%, the chatbot will give the default answer "I don't understand the meaning of your question"

This study addresses the decreasing interest in traditional television viewing, prompting Liputan 6 SCTV to utilize YouTube as an information dissemination platform. The role of Production Assistant News is critical in creating engaging content to enhance audience engagement on the Liputan 6 SCTV YouTube channel. The objective of this study is to explore how Production Assistant News contributes to increasing audience interaction and engagement. Using a descriptive qualitative research method, data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and literature reviews. The findings reveal that Production Assistant News plays a significant role in producing compelling Video on Demand (VOD) content, which leads to increased public preference for Liputan 6 SCTV as an information source. The successful implementation of this role is evidenced by a notable rise in subscribers, viewers, likes, and engagement metrics, as recorded by YouTube Studio.

Klasifikasi Kardus Barang di PT XYZ Menggunakan Convolutional Neural Network dengan Pendekatan Fine Grained Image Classification

PT XYZ requires a system to automatically validate items in storage with the system. Cardboard boxes containing items exhibit high visual similarity within a specific sub-category. Several studies have demonstrated the use of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) as a method for image classification with a Fine Grained Image Classification (FGIC) approach for classifying data with high similarity, resulting in good accuracy, and this will be applied in this research. The ResNet architecture is used with and without ImageNet weight initialization, combined with the RMCSAM architecture, resulting in eight training configurations. Based on testing results using 172 images across 14 classes, the ResNet + RMCSAM configuration with ImageNet weight initialization and the 20 times augmentation dataset achieves the highest accuracy compared to other configurations, with an accuracy of 99.42% and a loss of 0.0004. This configuration is utilized for cardboard classification in the PT XYZ warehouse.

The da'wah method is one of the elements of da'wah which has an important and strategic role for success. The da'wah method can also be interpreted as the path or way a da'i conveys his da'wah to mad'u. The use of a correct da'wah method is a very important element in the success of a da'wah activity. Basically, in the Al-Quran surah an-Nahl verse 125, the principles of da'wah methods are stated, including the bil-hikmah da'wah method, mau'idzah hasanah da'wah. So, with this da'wah method, it is hoped that a da'wah activity can run well and be conveyed to mad'u. A religious figure must know the condition of his mad'u so that the delivery of the da'wah message remains on target. There is still a lack of religious understanding in Tasak Lama Lalang Village, this can be seen from the religious activities of Nurul Hasanah women if they are not led by an ustadz. This research aims to determine the da'wah method used by Ustadz Syafi'i in increasing understanding of religion in the preaching of Nurul Hasanah women, namely with the bil-hikmah da'wah method and the mau'idzah Hasanah da'wah method, both of which are also very closely related because they use the method This da'wah can make it easier to carry out more optimal da'wah. This research is qualitative research (field research) which is descriptive qualitative in nature. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. So the results of the research regarding the da'wah method of religious figures/preachers are using the bil-hikmah da'wah method, the mau'idzah hasanah da'wah method. In the success of a da'wah activity, the method used in da'wah is by giving good advice, good words, not by forcing someone, let alone using harsh methods towards the object of the da'wah, and by giving a concrete example or action so that it can bring about change. which is better for the environment and can practice it in everyday life and always be on the path that is approved by Allah.

In recent years, we have witnessed significant growth in digital banking transactions, supported by technological advancements. According to the latest data from the FinTech Association of Indonesia, digital banking transactions in Indonesia have increased by 35% from the previous year. In this context, the development of digital banking applications becomes increasingly important. However, to ensure the quality and success of these applications, feedback from users is crucial. One technique used by banks is sentiment analysis to gather feedback on their digital applications. This research aims to analyze user sentiment for two banking applications, DbankPro and M-BCA, through reviews on the Google Playstore. The method used is CRISP-DM, implementing the "Imbalance Data Handling with SMOTE" technique and LSTM model. The test results show the accuracy of sentiment analysis for M-BCA is 91.07%, while for DbankPro it is 89.82%. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of paying attention to user feedback in the development of digital banking applications to enhance their quality and meet user expectations

Social media may have been glorified as something helpful, easy and convenient but as we all know it must have two sides of a coin. Social media does have quite a lot of bad sides. Unfortunately, the majority of mass media only share the good and glorify it, without telling the dark side of it that is even more complex than it explained. This study uses a qualitative approach with Stuart Hall’s reception analysis theory to understand the audience's role in generating meaning of digital literacy. The literature review highlights the previous research on the spread of misinformation and the solutions proposed by tech giants and experts, which aligns with the current research on digital literacy for social media. Through this research participants show that they understand digital literacy better after watching “The Social Dilemma” documentary film. Digital literacy is a very important skill that people must understand. This film proves that digital literacy can be taught and understood by watching this film

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought significant changes to daily life, including in the world of education. Overseas students, especially the class of 2020 at Telkom University, experience unique challenges in adapting to a new environment amid restrictions caused by the pandemic. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of culture shock and the adaptation process carried out by overseas students at Telkom University, Bandung. Using a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods, this study explores the personal experiences of overseas students from various provinces in Indonesia, especially those from Medan. The results showed that students experienced various levels of culture shock influenced by changes in learning methods from face-to-face to online, limited social interaction, and regional cultural differences. The adaptation process involved strategies such as blending into the new environment, using technology in communication, and adjusting to new learning methods. This research provides insight into the importance of academic and social support for overseas students in dealing with culture shock and adaptation in the post-COVID-19 pandemic higher education environment

The Go-Digital initiative equips MSMEs with the skills to leverage digital platforms and social media for promotional purposes, expanding their market reach. Lastly, the Go-Online initiative empowers MSMEs to market their products via online marketplaces or to develop their own platforms for wider distribution. This research seeks to explore the public relations marketing strategies employed by the BRI Incubator to elevate the performance of the MSMEs under its guidance. Employing a qualitative methodology with a phenomenological approach, the study investigates the experiences and perceptions of program participants. The findings reveal that the success stories of BRI Incubator participants contribute significantly to the development of a strong brand image for the BRI Incubator, thereby enhancing its reputation and effectiveness.

This research aims to examine the influence of actors' positions in communication networks and the role of fantasy themes in Palestinian donation comments on the Nusantara Palestine Center YouTube channel. Employing social network analysis through Labspolsys and Gephi 0.10, the study focuses on the video titled "Extraordinary: Indonesian Citizens Finally Provide Clean Water Assistance for Palestine." The principal findings indicate that key actors such as @Rio_naldo, @Arifhidayat26190, @Anonymous5580, and @Vinijulvia exhibit significant capabilities in disseminating information. These actors contribute to the analysis of fantasy themes that reflect aspirations and values, including justice, freedom, solidarity, hope, change, and religiosity. The results suggest that fantasy themes in comments can shape public perceptions of social movements and bolster support. However, this research is limited in its ability to generalize findings to a broader population. In conclusion, this study sheds light on the role of fantasy themes in influencing narratives and perceptions of Palestinian donation social movements on digital platforms such as YouTube

It highlights the prevalence of congenital abnormalities among newborns in Indonesia and the rising global incidence of intellectual disabilities. Utilizing the Family Communication Pattern Theory (FCPT), the research investigates how different family conversation orientations affect the development of these children. Effective communication is identified as a combination of consistent emotional support, direct guidance, an open environment, collaboration between families and educators, and the use of appropriate communication strategies. The findings offer practical recommendations for families and educational institutions aiming to enhance the autonomy of children with intellectual disabilities. Event management plays an important role in the success of an event and should be implemented during its execution, especially for important events such as corporate events. This research was conducted to implement the event management design for the Expert Insight Special Episode Marketing Talks "Unlocking Marketing Potential: The Power of AI" at Telkom CorpU, a company that regularly organizes online webinar series. This research successfully attracted 306 participants, with 62.3% of 151 participants stating that they were very satisfied and 37.1% satisfied with this event. Additionally, 58% of participants liked the event based on the content provided, and 38.4% were interested in the event's speakers. This study was carried out using observation and documentation methods and utilized Goldblatt's event management theory to support the success of this event. The results of this study concluded that the event management design in this webinar successfully made the event more structured and organized in managing human resources, teamwork, and creativity.

The E-Canteen website serves as an online platform enabling MSMEs to sell their products to UNJ students, lecturers, and employees. The development of the E-Canteen website employs the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology with a Prototyping approach. In the automotive spare parts industry, efficient supply chain management is the backbone of operational success. Amidst this complex ecosystem, companies face challenges in delivering fast, reliable, and competitive services, accommodating a constantly evolving consumer base with discerning preferences and rising expectations. This article aims to identify challenges in developing tracking and delivery scheduling applications for the automotive spare parts industry and improve system performance by introducing effective solutions. The research adopts a system development approach using the Waterfall method to produce a responsive and user-friendly web application, followed by functional testing using Black Box and evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Development of the tracking and delivery scheduling application using the Waterfall method resulted in a reliable and responsive application, with all system functionalities running smoothly. SUS testing indicated that the application has a good level of usability, with an average score of 77.5 out of 100. This study successfully provides relevant and efficient technological solutions to overcome operational barriers in the automotive spare parts industry, with the potential to enhance customer satisfaction and solidify the company's position as a pioneer in the automotive aftermarket sector. However, further improvements in application usability can be achieved through future iterations guided by user feedback and additional usability testing.

This research develops a decision support system using the Rule-Based Decision Support System (RB-DSS) method to enhance transparency and communication between the school and parents of students at SMK Bandung 1 Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang. The research methodology involves data collection through literature reviews, interviews, and direct field observations. The collected data is analyzed and processed using the RB-DSS algorithm. The criteria included in the decision support system encompass academic grades, attendance, school fee payments, and environmental development. The study demonstrates that the RB-DSS decision support system can deliver more precise and effective results, significantly improving transparency and communication between the school and parents within the school environment. This enhanced communication fosters a collaborative atmosphere, ensuring that parents are well-informed and actively engaged in their children's educational progress

The aim of this research is to find out the family values contained in the film Gara - Gara Pahlawan. This research uses Stuart Hall's representation theory which aims to discover and see how family values are contained in the film. The second theory used is Roland Barthes' semiotic theory, this theory is used to carry out an analysis that uses the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth to find symbols, meanings and messages of family values contained in the film. The method used to conduct research is a qualitative analysis method. The results of this research found that there is a meaning of family values that is in accordance with the meaning of family values based on reality in society and it is hoped that this research will be able to show that the function of family values can be a function of love, a socio-cultural function, an economic function, and a protection function.

Advances in technology and the internet make it easier for businesses to innovate in the promotion and delivery of information. Mama Gigi's store uses online sales promotion through Shopee live shopping and celebrity endorser Nagita Slavina to build a brand image. This study, which used Houland's S-O-R theory and quantitative methods with 400 respondents, found that online sales promotion and celebrity endorsers had a positive and significant effect on Toko Mama Gigi's brand image, with an influence of 46.9%, while 53.1% was influenced by other factors that were not studied.

The purpose of this research is to identify user needs in using an online quiz website. The Design Thinking method is a method for understanding users and defining problems and finding solutions to design. The result of the research that has been carried out is a quiz website design that can be used by teachers and students. The method used to test the results of the quiz website design is the System Usability Scale by giving questionnaires to teachers and students. From the results of the calculation of the questionnaire that has been distributed, it gets a value of 72, which means that the design results made are quite good.

This study aims to provide information about battery recharge locations through the Recharge App. The research method employed is Research and Development (RnD) using the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Research tools and instruments include surveys, interviews, as well as frontend and backend development devices. The research findings indicate a user satisfaction rate of 90%. However, some features such as notifications and sharing functions require further development. Limited launch through social media platforms and user feedback are utilized to guide further development. This study demonstrates the significant potential of the application in providing beneficial information services, yet further refinement is necessary to achieve optimal functionality in meeting users' needs comprehensively.

Without a recommendation system, the package selection process requires direct communication with the marketing team, which can be inefficient and time-consuming. The aim of this research is to design and develop a recommendation system by applying the Knowledge-Based Recommendation method. The method for developing this system is Agile Software Development. The development stages include needs analysis, Unified Modeling Language (UML) system design, and database implementation. System testing was conducted using the Blackbox method, and performance was measured using recall and precision metrics. The test results indicate that the developed recommendation system successfully provides accurate and relevant recommendations according to user needs. The recall value reached 100%, demonstrating the system's ability to retrieve all relevant data items, while the precision value reached 89.43%, indicating the accuracy of the relevant items displayed.

This research examines the implementation of SIMULASI SIDOLA (Port Document System) as an innovation in the one-door system at Sunda Kelapa Port. The main objective of this system is to improve efficiency in the processing of goods documents, which is a critical aspect of port operations. The method used was literature study and direct observation of the work process at the port. The results showed that SIDOLA SIMULATION significantly reduced the processing time of documents from days to just a few hours. The system also improved transparency and accountability through process digitization and data integration between stakeholders. The study recommends wider adoption of similar systems in other ports in Indonesia to support the efficiency and advancement of the national maritime industry.

A radio announcer plays an important role in delivering information and entertainment to listeners. Where female broadcasters have the ability to manage impressions during the program. The purpose of the research is to find out the radio announcer in self-presentation by building an image on the front stage and back stage as a female announcer. The method used is Qualitative Method with Dramaturgy Theory approach by Goffman. The results showed that the front stage setting, female broadcasters have done in accordance with regional settings such as appearance, behavior style, intonation, speaking speed and body language. Backstage usually broadcasters make preparations before broadcasting by looking for material, managing emotions and entering into their lives as housewives, teachers and marketing staff, besides that. While seen from the image, making efforts to interact with professional listeners in accordance with radio station regulations. The impact of this message management not only helps broadcasters in building a strong relationship with the audience but also contributes to the progress and professionalism of the radio, which will give the trust of the audience and will attract advertisements and sponsors for the radio.

This research aims to develop a web-based decision support system (DSS) for selecting the best healthcare professionals using the Weighted Product (WP) method. The system is designed to assist hospital institutions in determining the best healthcare professionals based on the criteria set by the Minister of Health Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2016. The research was conducted at CV Sumber Solusi Bersama, focusing on the development of a Hospital Management System. The WP method was chosen for its ability to handle complex multi-criteria decision-making. The results of the research indicate that the developed system can improve efficiency and accuracy in the process of selecting the best healthcare professionals, thereby enhancing the quality of healthcare services in hospitals.

This study employs data analytics to examine the influence of motivation, job satisfaction, and the work environment on employee performance at Glory Industrial Semarang. Using a quantitative approach, the study involved a population of 300 employees, with a sample selected through probability sampling using the simple random sampling technique, resulting in 78 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS, revealing that the variables of job satisfaction, motivation, and the work environment each have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. The job satisfaction variable has a regression coefficient of 0.293 with a significance of 0.024, the motivation variable has a coefficient of 0.349 with a significance of 0.002, and the work environment variable has a coefficient of 0.262 with a significance of 0.000. These findings confirm that data analytics is effective in identifying factors that contribute to the enhancement of employee performance within the company

This research investigates the role of the wife as a supporter of her husband's da'wah, as depicted in the film Buya Hamka Vol.1. The film portrays Siti Raham, the wife of Buya Hamka, and her contributions to her husband's missionary efforts. Employing a qualitative approach, this study utilizes content analysis to examine the portrayal of the wife's role in supporting her husband's da'wah. The analysis focuses on five specific scenes in the film that illustrate the wife's contributions. The findings identify five key roles that wives play in supporting their husband's da'wah: advisor, motivator, teacher, companion, and household manager. The results underscore the significant role wives have in providing moral, emotional, and spiritual support to their husbands, in addition to contributing to the education of their children. Furthermore, this research highlights the importance of effective communication and mutual understanding between husband and wife in ensuring the success of da'wah. These findings offer valuable insights into the dynamics of the wife's role in supporting her husband's da'wah and establish a foundation for strategies to enhance da'wah effectiveness.

This article discusses the importance of Journalistic Ethics in the 2024 Election News on Metro TV. Television as a political communication medium is very effective in delivering information to the public. Political parties utilize television to convey their vision, address community issues, and build public support. Journal Ethics, as a set of ethical guidelines for journalists, is essential to ensure integrity and professionalism in reporting. This article highlights the importance of journalistic ethics based on Law No.40 of 1999 on the Indonesian Journalist Code of Ethics (KEWI), which aims to improve media integrity. The research used a qualitative method with descriptive analysis to identify ethical issues in the coverage of the 2024 General Election on Metro TV. Findings included a lack of transparency, non-neutral language, lack of information verification, sensational reporting, and the need for Metro TV's commitment to ethical journalism to improve the quality of reporting.

This research uses a qualitative approach with Stuart Hall's reception analysis method. Where in the method divides the audience into 3 categories , namely Dominant Hegemonic Position, Negotiated Position, and Oppositional Position. The data analysis technique used in this research is the Miles and Huberman interactive model data analysis. The results of this study show that audiences have the ability to digest and convert media messages into definitions of life choices and self-identity. Audiences are given the option to choose which media to consume according to their preferences. The informants were found to be divided into three positions where two informants were in the Dominant Hegemonic Position, which means that they agree with the #Respectmybody campaign that the message and the initial objectives of Brand Somethinc are well conveyed to the informants. The other two are in the negotiation position where the audience generally accepts the dominant ideology but they will make some exceptions in its application according to cultural rules to their own thoughts. And one is in the opposition position where the audience rejects the intended message of the media and replaces it with their own way of thinking about the topic conveyed by the media.

In the digital era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, organizations such as BPRDCo must undergo Digital Transformation (DT) to remain competitive. A significant obstacle in this process is often the inadequacy of information security controls, which can lead to DT failure. Previous research has highlighted the necessity of ambidextrous information security management—integrating both traditional and agile approaches—as a crucial mechanism for DT success in large banks, particularly in data management and information security. However, this strategy has not been proven effective for smaller banks like BPRDCo. Therefore, this study aims to develop and propose priority information security management solutions specifically tailored for SMEs, while also estimating the improvement in maturity level capabilities to boost DT success. The research follows five stages in Design Science Research (DSR): problem identification, requirements specification, design and development, demonstration, and evaluation. Data were collected through interviews and document analysis, and analyzed using the ISO 27001:2022 Information Security Management System (ISMS) framework. Six priority PDCA and Annex controls were identified for BPRDCo as the case study. Based on the identified gaps, six essential solutions were designed using ISMS controls. These recommendations were compiled into an implementation roadmap to enhance BPRDCo's readiness for full ISMS implementation and certification, ultimately supporting DT success in small banks.

Urbanization in major cities such as Jakarta frequently results in heightened social inequality and economic segregation, further widening the gap between different societal groups. Jakarta vs Everybody portrays these urban challenges by depicting the harsh realities of city life through characters ensnared in crime and economic hardship. This study adopts a qualitative methodology, employing semiotic and discourse analysis to examine how the film represents social inequality in the context of urbanization. The findings reveal that the film effectively illustrates marginalization, social injustice, and economic segregation present in Jakarta. Specifically, it highlights disparities in access to opportunities and resources among various social groups, which drive the main characters toward a life of crime as a shortcut to survival. These results bolster existing theories of social and economic segregation in urbanized settings, demonstrating that inequality in large cities extends beyond economic factors and shapes broader social and cultural dynamics. The implications of this research underscore the need to address uneven urbanization, which exacerbates inequality and crime in big cities. The film serves not only as a medium for raising social awareness but also as a platform for provoking deeper discussions on spatial policies and social justice in urban environments. Consequently, this study contributes to the literature on the interaction between popular media and social issue representation in urban society.

In the 2024 presidential election, campaign signs play a crucial role in political communication, shaping public perceptions of candidate pairs. However, there has been limited research examining the influence of these signs through Peirce's semiotic framework. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Prabowo-Gibran campaign signs during the 2024 presidential election using Peirce's semiotic approach. Additionally, it seeks to explore the broader implications of these findings for political communication strategies in elections. Peirce's semiotic theory is applied as an analytical tool to interpret the meaning conveyed by the Prabowo-Gibran campaign signs. Data were gathered through observations of the campaign signs and analyzed using semiotic interpretation, focusing on representations, objects, and interpretants. The influence of these signs on public perception and voter support was then assessed. The findings reveal that the Prabowo-Gibran campaign signs effectively conveyed messages of courage, collaboration, and public health. These signs were positively received by the public, shaping the image of the pair as strong leaders capable of fostering cooperation. The results are crucial for understanding political communication strategies, as recognizing the meaning and impact of campaign signs can help inform more effective strategies to shape voter attitudes. The primary objective is to explore how Eco's semiotic theory shapes the narrative of this murder case and how symbols, signs, and narratives influence the public's perception of truth and professionalism in criminal investigations. The study employs a qualitative approach, using semiotic analysis on relevant news texts. Data were collected from articles and related reports on the Vina and Eky cases.
