Abstract
This study aims to analyze the role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in empowering housewives at the Nangka Chips MSME in Wonosari Village. According to Law No. 20 of 2008, MSMEs are productive businesses owned by individuals or individual business entities. The main focus of this research is to examine how MSMEs contribute to enhancing the skills, income, and self-confidence of housewives involved in the business. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, aimed at exploring the social and economic impacts generated. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation of the Nangka Chips MSME operating in Wonosari Village. The results indicate that the Nangka Chips MSME has a positive impact on the empowerment of housewives, leading to increased income, improved skills, and strengthened social structures within the community.
