Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine what factors, if any, impact PT Universal Indo Persada workers' levels of- job satisfaction by looking at their working conditions, workloads, and salaries. Staff discontent with their jobs is indicated by high rates of tardiness and absenteeism, which is the impetus for the investigation. Fifty workers filled out questionnaires, and the researchers used a mixed-method technique to combine it with qualitative data gathered via in-depth interviews and careful observation. With a R² of 79.1%, the findings of multiple linear regression analysis reveal that job satisfaction is significantly impacted by the three independent variables: work environment, workload, and remuneration. Among these factors, workload was shown to have the greatest impact. The quantitative results are supported by the qualitative triangulation, which shows that the primary causes of unhappiness are an unpleasant physical environment, an uneven workload, and insufficient remuneration. Findings from this study have real-world applications for enhancing manufacturing-specific human resource management practices.
