Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh variabel-variabel kebutuhan fisik, kebutuhan rasa aman, kebutuhan sosial, kebutuhan penghargaan, dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri terhadap motivasi karyawan bagian produksi di PT. Sansan Saudaratex Jaya 2 Cimahi, serta untuk mengidentifikasi variabel yang memiliki pengaruh dominan. Motivasi dalam konteks ini didefinisikan sebagai dorongan internal yang mendorong individu untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Untuk memotivasi seseorang, penting untuk memahami kebutuhan atau kekurangan yang dimilikinya. Penelitian ini merujuk pada teori hirarki kebutuhan Maslow dan teori Rao. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksplanasi, yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh motivasi terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan bagian produksi. Populasi yang diteliti adalah karyawan bagian produksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan pengisian kuesioner dengan skala Likert 1 hingga 5. Analisis data meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, regresi berganda, uji determinasi, uji F, dan uji t. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel motivasi secara signifikan memengaruhi prestasi kerja karyawan bagian produksi pada tingkat signifikansi 1%. Variabel kebutuhan rasa aman terbukti menjadi variabel yang paling dominan, dengan nilai beta terbesar, yaitu 0,431.
