The editorial board would like to inform you of an important matter regarding journal operations during a state of emergency.

On November 27, 2025, the Government of Aceh declared a hydrometeorological emergency status due to floods and landslides affecting 16 regencies/cities across Aceh Province. This disaster has resulted in 20,759 people displaced, casualties, disruption of several main roads, and isolation of numerous areas. The emergency status is effective for 14 days, from November 28 to December 11, 2025.

Given that several members of our editorial team and peer reviewers are located in the affected areas, the journal's editorial processes will experience delays and disruptions. Affected activities include manuscript review processes, correspondence with authors and reviewers, and publication of upcoming issues.

Editorial operations will resume on December 1, 2025. Submitted manuscripts will continue to be processed according to the queue, and authors do not need to resubmit. Revision deadlines will be automatically adjusted.
