Journal Statistics & Metrics System - Under Development

Dear Authors, Reviewers, and Readers,

We would like to inform you that we are currently developing an Enhanced Statistics & Metrics System for our journal following the migration to OJS 3.5.

Features Under Development:

We are building an Advanced Views & Downloads Analytics system that will include Abstract Views tracking, Galley Views monitoring, PDF Downloads counter, HTML Downloads statistics, as well as monthly and yearly trends analysis. Additionally, we are developing an Author Distribution & User Analytics module that will feature a comprehensive Total Authors database, Author Affiliation mapping, Registered Users statistics, User role breakdown for Authors, Reviewers, and Readers, along with Institutional collaboration metrics. Furthermore, a Geographic Analytics Dashboard is being created to provide Top Contributing Countries visualization, Regional distribution analysis, Country-based author statistics, and Global reach metrics.

Current Status:

All statistics are currently displaying as "0" because these features are not available by default in the standard OJS 3.5 system. These are custom-developed features being built specifically for our journal and are currently in the integration and testing phase.

Important Notes:

These are additional enhanced features beyond standard OJS capabilities. We want to assure you that all core journal functions including submission, review, and publication are operating normally. Published articles remain fully accessible and citable, and DOI links and article metadata are functioning properly.

Development Timeline:

The development and integration work is scheduled to be completed by December 10, 2026. During this development period, we kindly request all users to avoid accessing submission and editorial functions between 10 PM and 5 AM to ensure system stability and prevent any potential data conflicts during maintenance and testing activities.

Expected Completion:

We are actively working on implementing these advanced analytics features. Full functionality is expected to be available in the coming weeks as we complete the development and integration process.

Why We're Doing This:

These enhanced metrics will provide better visibility of article impact and reach, comprehensive author and institutional analytics, improved understanding of our global readership, and data-driven insights for editorial decisions.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to bring you these valuable analytical tools that will enhance your experience with our journal.
