Plagiarism and AI Detection Policy of International Journal Software Engineering and Computer Science (IJSECS)
In order to maintain the quality and integrity of scholarly publications, the International Journal Software Engineering and Computer Science (IJSECS) establishes policies regarding plagiarism and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in manuscript writing.
Plagiarism Standards:
- The maximum allowable plagiarism rate is less than 20% (<20%)
- Every submitted manuscript will undergo a plagiarism checking process using detection software
- Manuscripts with plagiarism rates above the specified threshold will be rejected or returned for revision
AI Usage Policy:
- The maximum allowable AI Detection rate is less than 15% (<15%)
- AI usage is only permitted for limited purposes such as paraphrasing, typo correction, grammar checking, and language improvement
- AI is NOT PERMITTED to create or generate the main research content, including research results, data analysis, discussion, and conclusions
- Authors are fully responsible for the originality and validity of the research content
We emphasize that submitted manuscripts must be the original work of the authors. Violations of this policy may result in manuscript rejection or retraction of publication if discovered after publication.
Authors are expected to comply with scholarly publication ethics standards and uphold academic integrity.
