However, there is still a large gap in understanding the challenges and limitations that businesses face in effectively adopting this technology. This study aims to comprehensively explore the application of the latest technologies in digital marketing and offer actionable recommendations for optimizing their utilization in corporate marketing strategies. This research uses a literature-based approach for data collection and analysis. The rapid evolution of digital technology has greatly influenced the business landscape in Indonesia, with many digital platforms facilitating product promotion and sales. Although digital technology provides great benefits, it also presents various challenges and risks, especially in the field of digital marketing. This evolution underscores the efficacy of digital marketing as a powerful tool for product promotion. Leveraging social media and digital marketing strategies allows businesses to expand their reach to a wider target audience, attract potential customers and significantly increase sales figures. However, this has inherent challenges and risks, especially in maintaining data security and privacy, especially during online transactions and storing customer data. This research underscores the critical role of enforcing data security and privacy protocols to grow and maintain customer trust.
Samuel Genaro Hafizah Rifiyanti Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal Education and Computer Studies (IJECS) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ 2023-11-30 2023-11-30 3 3 67 71 10.35870/ijecs.v3i3.1452 Enhancing Science Process Skills in Fifth-Grade Students at SD Negeri 5 Unggul Tapaktuan through Experimental Methods in Heat Transfer Material Application http://journal.lembagakita.org/index.php/ijecs/article/view/1804
This study was prompted by the observed inadequacy in students' science process skills during learning activities, attributed to the utilization of inappropriate teaching methods that fail to offer a comprehensive understanding of the material. Consequently, these methods struggle to engage students' interest and curiosity effectively. The primary objective of this research is to assess the enhancement of students' science process skills through the implementation of the experimental method, focusing on the science subject of heat transfer material. Employing a true experimental research design with a posttest-only control group, the study unfolded during the second semester of the academic year 2022/2023, specifically from May 16 to 21. The participants comprised two classes: Class VB as the experimental group and Class VA as the control group. Data collection utilized an observation sheet for students. The analysis of data to evaluate science process skills employed the percentage formula. The findings revealed a substantial increase in science process skills, as evidenced by the experimental class's post-test scores rising from 54% to 98%. This indicates a noteworthy improvement of 44% attributable to the application of the experimental method in heat transfer material. In conclusion, the study affirms that employing experimental methods in heat transfer material significantly enhances students' science process skills, validating a substantial and statistically significant increase in their proficiency.
Miftahul Khairi Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal Education and Computer Studies (IJECS) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ 2023-11-30 2023-11-30 3 3 72 75 10.35870/ijecs.v3i3.1804 Analytical Study on the Urgency of Media Learning in Islamic Religious Education http://journal.lembagakita.org/index.php/ijecs/article/view/1805
To optimize the efficacy of learning media within Islamic religious education, educators are urged to judiciously select and seamlessly integrate media aligned with specific learning objectives and tailored to student profiles. The utilization of learning media should serve as a conduit for enriching the Islamic educational journey, fostering deeper comprehension, and cultivating an enhanced appreciation of Islamic principles. Contemporary students have been nurtured in the digital age, exhibiting a heightened familiarity with technology. Hence, the incorporation of digital learning media holds promise in rendering the exploration of the Islamic faith more pertinent and engaging. Furthermore, learning media presents an opportunity to economize time and resources, particularly by furnishing content-rich educational materials. This, in turn, alleviates the burden on educators, affording them greater latitude for direct instructional focus. The effectiveness of learning media hinges not solely upon the media type but also on its adept integration into the pedagogical framework. Relevance to the stipulated learning objectives remains paramount, with the media serving as a scaffold to bolster desired competencies, knowledge acquisition, and skill development. To kindle student interest and motivation, employing captivating imagery, videos, or narratives germane to students' experiences is instrumental. Media that facilitates interactive engagement tends to yield greater efficacy, enabling students to actively participate in learning through activities such as problem-solving, discussion, and responsive inquiries.
Diyah Mayarisa Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal Education and Computer Studies (IJECS) 2023-11-30 2023-11-30 3 3 76 80 10.35870/ijecs.v3i3.1805 The Role of School Supervisors in Enhancing Pedagogical Competence of Junior High School Teachers in Sabang City Through Academic Supervision http://journal.lembagakita.org/index.php/ijecs/article/view/1806
This research aims to provide a comprehensive description of the role of school supervisors in enhancing the pedagogical competence of junior high school teachers in Sabang City in the year 2023. The study employs a school action research design conducted over two cycles, involving action planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. The research subjects comprise 12 teachers requiring improvement in their pedagogical competence, specifically from SMP Nilai 3 Sabang and SMP Nilai 5 Sabang. Five teachers are from SMP Negeri 3, while seven are from SMP Negeri 5. Data collection utilizes observation techniques, and data analysis employs qualitative descriptive analysis with percentage calculations. Findings from the first cycle indicate that eight teachers have achieved the research success indicators, while four have not. In the second cycle, eleven teachers have met the success indicators, with only one teacher yet to do so. The percentage of teachers meeting the success indicators increased from 66.7% in the first cycle to 91.7% in the second cycle. There is a 25% improvement in the percentage of pedagogical competence from the first to the second cycle. In conclusion, this study, conducted by a school supervisor, demonstrates a significant enhancement in the pedagogical competence of junior high school teachers in Sabang City through the implementation of academic supervision
Cut Intan Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal Education and Computer Studies (IJECS) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ 2023-11-30 2023-11-30 3 3 81 88 10.35870/ijecs.v3i3.1806 Assessing Affective Domain in PAI Subjects: A Case Study of SD Negeri 19 Tanah Jambo Aye, North Aceh District http://journal.lembagakita.org/index.php/ijecs/article/view/1807
Teachers at SD Negeri 19 Tanah Jambo Aye, North Aceh District are tasked with being able to measure the competencies that have been achieved by students.
